Three-phase diode bridge rectifiers can handle higher power levels when compared with single-phase diode bridge rectifiers. They have higher quality in the waveforms of DC side voltage and AC side currents. Three-phase diode bridge rectifiers are appropriate for industrial applications, where higher power levels are to be handled by the rectifier.
